Good morning! Today's blog is going to be a little different. Our goal each day is to ask the Lord to give us something that we may impart to you. Each day we want to sacrifice ourselves for the benefit of others. We want to express genuine love to our students and friends around the world. That's our goal.

But RU has a very big problem. And we believe God has given us a very big solution! Our ministry has grown so quickly that we find ourselves spending an inordinate amount of time determining how to pay for all that growth. The more people we help, the more difficult it has been to remain on sound footing financially. But praise the Lord, God always provides!

In the last year our growth has really consumed us. We are struggling to say on top of all that God is asking us to do. We have used our every resource to manage that growth. We just simply need more resources to keep ourselves from becoming a poor testimony for our vendors who help us meet our ministry mission.

So we are trying to raise money the old fashioned way. We are trying to earn it! Through hard work and creativity, we are hosting a good old fashioned car wash. Now wait a minute! Not one of those car washes that raise $200. We are asking the Lord to grant us $100,000.00 in revenue to go 100% toward bills in our car wash.

To some that might sound funny! But here is the second catch. We are going to wash all the cars for free! We are not going to charge a dime for the wash and we are not going to accept donations from the people whose car we wash!

You may be asking then how are we going to do it?

Here is the plan: We are going to wash 250 cars at 4 different locations simulatneously thorughout our city. That's 1,000 cars that will be washed for free and with no money accepted as donations. We are using this as a way to present the gospel. We have created tracts that have the gospel and proclaim in essence that "Christ will wash you spotless and he does it for free!"
